Peter Dinklage decided to set himself up as a “defender” of dwarf people and now, because of his comments, 7 of his colleagues are out of work.

The actor, who played the famous Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, criticized Disney for the remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, a fairy tale that, for Dinklage, is a “fucking backwards story” and offensive to people suffering from dwarfism.

“There’s a lot of hypocrisy going on,” Peter Dinklage said in an interview for Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. “Literally no offense to anyone, but I was a little taken aback [when] they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White. But you’re still telling the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Take a step back and look at what you’re doing there. It makes no sense to me..”

The actor, who suffers from achondroplasty, a condition that causes dwarfism, went on to say, “You’re progressive in one way but then you’re still making that fucking backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together.”

The criticism from Peter Dinklage, a global artistic reference, caused controversy and Disney quickly responded to the actor’s comments by accepting the rebuke.

“To avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original animated film, we are taking a different approach with these seven characters and have been consulting with members of the dwarfism community. We look forward to sharing more as the film heads into production after a lengthy development period,” Disney said in a statement to Deadline.

This response from Disney to Peter Dinklage caused the fury of the 7 actors who were to play the 7 dwarves in the Snow White remake.

The British newspaper Daily Mail reported exclusively that several actors, including an actor who suffers from dwarfism, severely criticized Dinklage calling him a hypocrite, because while he called Disney’s tale retrograde, he also charged 1.2 million dollars for each episode of Game of Thrones where he played a dwarf character.

‘You’re not the king dwarf.’

The Daily Mail interviewed Dylan Postl, who played Hornswoggle, the leprechaun in WWE for 10 years.

“It makes me so sick to my stomach to think that there are seven roles for dwarfs that can’t get normal acting roles, or very few and far between roles, and now they are gone because of this guy,” Postl told the Daily Mail. “Peter Dinklage is the biggest dwarf actor probably of all time but it doesn’t make him king dwarf,.”

“When he was cast as a little person role in Lord of the Rings or in a Game of Thrones or in Elf or this that or the other thing… those checks cashed just fine,” Postl continued. “He had no issue then. But now he wants to be progressive? Come on man.”

“It’s not helping our community it’s taking jobs away from our community that are very few and far between as it is,” he said.

Peter Dinklage and woke culture took away sleep from 7 actors who suffer from dwarfism

For Dylan Postl, Peter Dinklage harmed 7 dwarf actors, proving that woke culture can harm minorities.

“We are in a society and a time of woke and progression and I get that —to an extent— but this is a fairytale,” Postl said. “This is a fairytale about Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Dwarves are one of the focuses – they are literally in the title.”

“When I grew up, all I wanted to do is be a professional wrestler and work for WWE. When I was 19 years old, they were casting for a leprechaun: a person of my stature to be an on air talent,” the actor said. “I could never in a million years have gotten a job with WWE as one of their main superstars, I am not six foot, I’m not 250 pounds, but this role as the leprechaun was made for me. For 10 years I got to live my absolute childhood dream as hornswoggled the leprechaun on WWE.”
