More than two hundred years have passed since that moment when a group of dreamers took up arms against the British Empire to win their freedom; since then, the Founding Fathers established that Americans had the right to be armed, not only to defend themselves against evil and their enemies, but also to protect their freedom against any attempt of authoritarianism.

It seems that this lesson has been forgotten by a good part of the current population, contrary to what the Poles are experiencing today, who a couple of decades ago were invaded by the Russian communists, and understand the need to arm themselves, not to promote a war, but precisely to avoid them.

Yesterday, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced a new law on access to firearms to “train society” in national defense, in addition to the construction of hundreds of public shooting ranges throughout the country.

Morawiecki said that “if Russia should ever think of attacking Poland, let it know that 40 million Poles are ready to defend it with weapons in hand.”

The government headed by Morawiecki will launch a “national shooting promotion program” with the construction of more than 300 facilities, one in each district of the country, where citizens will be offered shooting classes with handguns and rifles.

“It is necessary to reiterate the message that access to weapons is to make us stronger as a country,” Morawiecki said, “and, as the Latin saying goes, if you want peace, prepare for war.”

Faced with the uprising of their enemies, the Poles have decided to expand access to guns among their population, contrary to what is happening today in the United States, where the Democrats are exerting strong pressure to disarm their citizens.

The reasons why the United States has not suffered a foreign invasion are obvious: it has a strong economy, the most powerful armed forces in the world, and an armed population… but what would happen if this began to be dismantled little by little?

Yesterday the markets officially entered a bear phase, we have the highest inflation in 40 years, and most likely the economy will go into recession. If on top of that, we surrender our weapons, we will be leaving our country on a silver platter for the enemies. The question is, whose interest is this and why do we have a Presidency working with all its might to weaken America?
