Report ‘Joe Biden Seeks Re-Election in 2024’ Surprises U.S. Voters — But It Turns Out to Be FEC Filing Change

¿Joe Biden buscará la reelección en 2024?

Joe Biden, who is 79 years old, had filed FEC paperwork to run for presidential re-election in 2024, according to multiple reports.

“President Joe Biden has filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to establish himself as a candidate for re-election in 2024,” the Independent reported.

“A ‘Statement of Organization’ submitted to the FEC on Tuesday registered ‘Biden for President’ as the principal campaign committee for candidates Joseph R Biden Jr and Kamala Harris,” the report added.

However, the Democratic National Committee is now indicating that this was a false alarm. The FEC filing, although accurate, was only making a technical change.

“A 30 August form filed with the Federal Election Commission by Joe Biden’s campaign committee is not a sign that an announcement of a re-election bid is imminent,” a Democratic National Committee official told the Independent.

The Democratic official told The Independent the filing was routine.

“This is not a re-election filing. This is just updating the form to change the treasurer name because the former treasurer is taking a government job,” the official said.

The Biden administration has said numerous times that the elderly, frail, and cognitively declining president would run for re-election.

However, according to a McLaughlin and Associates polling published over the weekend, President Trump leads Biden in a hypothetical 2024 rematch by four points (election fraud notwithstanding).

“Now, if the 2024 Presidential election were held today, which one of the following best describes how you would vote in the general election for President between Donald Trump, the Republican candidate and Joe Biden, the Democrat candidate, for whom would you vote?” the poll asked.

Forty-nine percent said they would vote for Trump, while 45 percent chose Biden. An additional five percent were undecided.

Thirty-six percent of prospective Trump voters said they “definitely” would vote for him, while 36 percent said likewise about Biden.

Although Donald Trump has not officially filed for president, he has repeatedly hinted that he would run for re-election in the aftermath of the 2020 election.

Joe Biden officially filing for a 2024 bid would add considerable political intrigue to the unprecedented FBI raid of former president Donald Trump’s estate at Mar-a-Lago on August 8. Biden would be on the record as a political rival of Donald Trump in a future presidential election rematch.

Biden’s re-election campaign would further to the appearance of impropriety and abuse of power involving the FBI’s invasive raid at Mar-a-Lago. The FBI raid followed months of Justice department deliberation after a June meeting at Trump’s home on alleged ‘classified’ documents in the former president’s possession.

The invasive search was “personally approved” by Attorney General Merrick Garland, who was denied a Supreme Court seat under the Trump administration.

Adding more to the appearance of rampant partisanship in the Biden administration, a senior FBI official who was taking heat for displaying extreme bias during his mishandling of “politically sensitive” investigations abruptly resigned and was escorted out of the building.

Thibault also had a track record of “political bias” while mishandling Trump investigations.

“Former Special Agent Thibault was accused of displaying bias in his handling of politically sensitive investigations, including the criminal investigation of Hunter Biden’s laptop and FBI probes of former President Donald Trump,” Just the News reported.

“Whistleblowers alleged that Thibault concealed the partisan nature of evidence from FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland to secure their approval to open an investigation into former President Donald Trump,” the report added. “That investigation culminated in the FBI’s raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate earlier this month.”

Thus, the Democratic Party appears willing to set aside Biden’s partisan abuse of power, the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, the U.S. economy in shambles, the border crisis, and rampant corruption that has permeated the highest levels of the administration. It is again poised to run Joe Biden, if only as a shield to hide its own failures.
