In a huge step towards normalcy, people infected with covid-19 will no longer be forced to self-isolate in England from next Thursday, February 24, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced today.
The chief executive unveiled in Parliament his plan to “live with covid,” which includes the removal of all legal restrictions to fight the disease.
Another of the measures that Johnson confirmed to MPs is the end of free antigen testing as of April 1, except for symptomatic cases in the most vulnerable and elderly sectors of the population.
