Who Will Hold Dr. Fauci Accountable? Controversies and Lies Will Haunt Him After Retirement

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the chief epidemiologist of the Biden White House, will leave his post in December after a scandal-ridden tenure full of contradictions, omissions, and controversies.

“While I am moving on from my current positions, I am not retiring. After more than 50 years of government service, I plan to pursue the next phase of my career while I still have so much energy and passion for my field.”

Fauci, being an epidemiologist, became the most popular face during the COVID pandemic. As time goes by, however, some facts have come to light that call into question the credibility of the doctor and his professional background.

The physician has been director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation.

Did Anthony Fauci ‘lie’ and withheld information?

Fauci would have concealed not only the origin of the Coronavirus, but also the links of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to the laboratory that allegedly caused the virus to leak in Wuhan, China.

In January, GOP lawmakers released excerpts of emails that evidenced that Fauci may have been notified about the intentional leak of the Wuhan Institute of Virology virus

On January 27, 2020, Fauci was told that his NIAID had been indirectly funding the Wuhan lab through EcoHealth, a U.S.-based scientific nonprofit that had been working with novel coronaviruses.

Fauci, four days later (January 31), received an email from Dr. Kristian Andersen, a leading virologist at the Scripps Lab, who told him that after discussion with colleagues, some of the Covid-19 features appear possibly manipulated and that the genome is inconsistent with the expectations of evolutionary theory.

After these details became known, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) penned an article on Fox News, claiming that Fauci lied about the coronavirus to manipulate the behavior of Americans.

Fauci suppressed the hypothesis of COVID’s origin to “not upset the public.”

Fauci held a radical position on the origin of the disease, asserting that it came from an animal and not from human error. Months after the start of the pandemic he went so far as to say that the virus most likely “evolved in nature and then jumped species”, rather than being “brought it to a lab, and then it accidentally escaped.”

Fauci continued to push against the lab leak theory for months, but in June 2020 admitted that there was a possibility that Covid-19 had arisen from a “lab leak” in Wuhan.

Fauci invested in Chinese companies

Anthony Fauci invested in Chinese companies with ties to Xi Jinping’s regime.

Fauci’s financial disclosure was released by Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS), whom Fauci called a “moron“. The release revealed that the NIAID chief had $10.4 million in investments, including holdings in several funds as of the end of 2020.

A report by journalist Frank Fang, published in The Epoch Times, notes that one fund, in particular, Matthews Pacif Tigers, invested 42.7% of the capital in companies based in Hong Kong and China.

Fauci provided his investment documents to Senator Marshall after the two clashed during a Senate hearing when the congressman confronted him about his financial information.

$350 Million in secret royalties

According to a report by Open the Books, a government watchdog, they “estimate that up to $350 million in royalties from third parties were paid to NIH scientists during the fiscal years between 2010 and 2020” Beneficiaries would include the agency’s recently deceased director, Dr. Francis Collins, and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

“We also find that during this period, leadership at NIH was involved in receiving third-party payments. For instance, Francis Collins, the immediate past director of NIH, received 14 payments. Dr. Anthony Fauci received 23 payments and his deputy, Clifford Lane, received eight payments.”

According to the organization’s findings, the top five NIH employees received such royalty payments while on the government payroll.

“Today, NIH is a revolving door of tens of billions of dollars in government grant-making coupled with hundreds of millions of dollars in private — non-transparent — royalty payments.”

More lies and contradictions

When thousands of Dr. Fauci’s emails came to light, some details that affected the public during the pandemic were also revealed.

Regarding the use of masks, for example, Fauci recommended their use only for sick people. Finally, the use of masks ended up being established for all citizens, sick or not.

Fauci also mentioned in emails accessed by The Washington Post and BuzzFeed that symptomatic cases accounted for the majority of infections. However, according to data from the Journal of the American Medical Association (AMA), transmissions from asymptomatic cases accounted for more than half by that time.
