How Will Biden’s Admin Enrich Large Corporations with Taxpayers’ Money in the Name of ‘Climate Change’?

¿Cómo la Administración Biden enriquecerá a grandes corporaciones con dinero de los contribuyentes en nombre del “cambio climático”?

The Biden administration has been promoting the transition from fuel-powered to electric vehicles, allegedly with the intent to protect the environment. This is despite numerous studies showing the limited benefits of electric cars, given that fossil energy sources generate the electricity they run on and their batteries require cobalt extraction.

However, despite this, in its bill to allegedly “reduce inflation,” the Biden administration has provided tax credits for electric vehicles for $7,500 to incentivize the purchase of this type of car. Meanwhile, large corporations such as Ford and General Motors have just raised the prices of their electric vehicles by a similar amount. In other words, buyers will end up paying the same price for the cars, but the government will grant the companies a bonus of $7,500 for each vehicle sold.

As reported by Daily Wire, Ford, citing “significant material cost increases and other factors,” increased the price of its electric vehicles by between $6,000 and $8,500.  The F-150 Lightning Pro, for example, will sell for $46,974 — a $7,000 increase from the $39,947 charged for last year’s model. GM likewise increased the cost of its electric Hummer by $6,250 last month”, reads the Wire story.

Biden will soon launch a nationwide campaign in which he will presumably explain in different cities how the bill passed by the Democrats will help Americans. The “Inflation Reduction Act” will allocate $369 billion to combat what the Democrats have called an existential crisis, “the existential crisis of climate change,” and a good portion of that money will end up in the coffers of large corporations in the name of the “environment.” In contrast, Americans will end up paying the same price for electric vehicles.

In other words, all American taxpayers will be forced to subsidize with their work and effort the purchase of electric cars by a minority in the country, and the price will end up being the same. The federal government will wind up paying a $7,500 sales bonus to large producers of electric vehicles.

Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of Transportation in the Biden administration, recently stated, in the face of the notorious increase in gasoline prices, that those who buy electric vehicles will never have to worry about gas prices ever again.

It seems that Trump was not exaggerating when he warned that with the Democrats, gas prices would go through the roof, and then they would tell you that you have to give up your vehicle. But the former president was wrong about one thing: they are not telling you to lose your car; they are telling you to buy an electric car to “take care” of the environment, even though several studies show that they are not really as “green” as they want to make them look.

After all, we have a massive business with lobbyists and big corporations capitalizing on a political narrative and taking taxpayers’ money.
