WH PRESS SECRETARY Karine Jean-Pierre this week celebrated the state of the economy under the Biden administration and, in a showy tally of accomplishments, claimed that the Democratic Administration had created ten billion jobs since 2021. The reaction from the internet has been relentless.
In one of her meetings with the press, Jean-Pierre sought to highlight President Biden’s supposed economic achievements. She insisted that the federal government’s unprecedented feat represents the “the fastest job growth in history,” without even noting that her claim was impossible.
“As you know, the good news is, in August the economy created 315,000 jobs, which is important. We have created nearly ten thousand million jobs since President Biden took office, which is the fastest job growth in history. So, you’re asking me where’s the success, here it is.”

Although the reality is that the creation of those 315,000 jobs is the smallest monthly increase since April 2021, according to a Fox News report, Jean-Pierre looked very confident, even haughty, about her data.
The Internet celebrates Biden’s great feat
The reactions on Twitter were as hilarious as the press secretary’s mistake.
When one user evoked a classic joke from the SNL parody Celebrity Jeopardy, saying, “Why not just say eleventy-billion jobs?” another tweeter replied, “She was trying not to brag.”

Another user responded, “Wow! Ten thousand million is a lot of jobs. That’s like 30 jobs for every American, which is great because we’re all going to need them in order to afford food and energy costs under this administration.”

Technology researcher Eli David sarcastically commented on how effective the Biden administration is at creating jobs for the entire planet. “That’s 10 billion, more than the entire population of the world. Amazing job!”

Another user added: “Coincidentally, and not at all related, they have also found 10,000 million newly registered Democrat voters.”
