Huh? WH Press Secretary Knocks Abbott Out of Office and Claims Ted Cruz Is TX Gov

Leer en Español

TED CRUZ is not a well-liked person inside the White House. Both President Joe Biden and Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre take the opportunity to criticize the senator whenever they can. In this case, Jean-Pierre got the senator a new job: being the governor of Texas.

At a press conference, Jean-Pierre was asked about Republican governors bringing illegal immigrants to Democratic states and cities.

The Press Secretary condemned what happened and told the reporter that “Texas Governor Ted Cruz and Florida Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott why they voted against the president’s request for record funding for the department of homeland security” putting the state’s real governor, Greg Abbott, out of a job.

Twitter users were quick to mock the situation and these were some of the comments: “Now Ted Cruz gets to beat Beto for a second time in a general election”; “This is the worst Press Secretary in history. Jen Psaki was 10x better”; “She doesn’t know things she just reads things” and “at least she didn’t call him Governor of Georgia, that’s Stacey Abrams.”

This is not the first time that both Cruz and Jean-Pierre have been in the news, given that, just days ago, the senator challenged the press secretary to travel with him to the southern border.

“I’m going to give a challenge, Karine Jean-Pierre, right now. Come to this border. Spend 60 minutes, one hour, with me and the Border Patrol union. We will encounter dozens, if not hundreds, of illegal immigrants coming across. And if we don’t, let’s bring the entire White House press corps, and one of two things will happen: If we don’t encounter anyone, I’ll stand up and say, ‘I was wrong.’” the Texan said on Fox News.
